CTAI have significant contributions to the EPUFBA undergraduate and graduate courses.
The Mechatronics Graduate Program (PPGM) has a strong correlation with the Center. CTAI has also supported PPGM to formalize partnership relationships with other national and international Higher Education Institutions, as well as to obtain the approval of projects in state and federal fostering agencies (FAPESB, CNPq, FINEP, etc...), and to develop partnerships with companies and institutions, such as Rockwell Automation, Petrobras and ANP.
CTAI frequently updates some didactic kits in order to attract the interest of students. Additionally, the Center receives students from different engineering courses of the School for development of activities and scientific initiation, final course works, internships and other student activities.
Over the last years, CTAI/UFBA has developed education activities and provided support to subjects such as: Mecha- tronic Systems (master and doctorate degrees); Integrated Manufacturing Systems (master and doctorate degrees); Industrial Computing Applications (undergraduate); Automation and Control of Processes (undergraduate); Introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers (extension courses); Supervisory Systems (extension courses); Industrial Networks (extension courses); Automation of Indus- trial Processes (undergraduate); Special Topics in Control and Automation Systems (undergraduate).
